On June 24, 2022, after nearly 50 years and over 60 million lives lost (1), the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe vs. Wade in a 5-4 vote. What a day!
I have lost count of how many people have told me they never thought they would see this decision overturned in their lifetime, yet here we are. Someone recently mentioned to me they did not even pray for the overturning of Roe vs. Wade; because they did not think it would ever happen. They then explained that they underestimated God’s power and what He could do. Hearing that made me reflect on how we all sometimes underestimate what God can do. Roe vs. Wade felt huge, too much for anyone to manage, yet God showed us that nothing is impossible for Him.
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
Abortion laws will now be left to individual states to decide how to represent its residents. Unfortunately, abortion will remain legal in some states, like California. California is currently working on pouring millions of dollars into abortion clinics with the intent to allow these clinics to use a portion of the funds to help women travel to California to receive an abortion when their home state no longer provides them. Otherwise known as, abortion tourism.
In addition to abortion tourism, several organizations have created initiatives to slander or destroy pro-birth pregnancy medical clinics like ours. Some of these pregnancy clinics across the country have been burned down, windows broken, and buildings spray-painted with messages like, “If abortions aren’t safe than neither are you!” Recently, our clinic has been battling bots leaving negative reviews on our social media sites such as Yelp and Google. We are also in the process of placing night vision cameras on our building, and the staff will soon partake in active shooter training with the Gilroy Police Department. We need YOU, our invaluable supporters, to come along side us to help us continue providing quality pregnancy medical services to the women in our community.
While this is a unique time in our history and sometimes difficult to manage, God knew we would be here, for such a time as this. We believe God can overturn California like He did Roe vs. Wade. We have faith that God can make the impossible, possible!

Service Update - Limited STD Testing

A pregnant woman may pass a sexually transmitted disease (STD) to her baby before during or after the baby's birth. (1) For this reason being tested early is important.
In June of this year, we added Limited STD Testing. Every pregnancy services client is offered limited STD Testing, which includes
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. This valuable
service supports the women we serve.
