A New Year of Hope and Impact

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb." Psalm 139:13

Hello, Life Community!

As we begin a new fiscal year at Informed Choices, I want to pause with gratitude for God's faithfulness and thank each of you for being part of this ministry.

At our event in June, we introduced the Life Community, a community that represents so much more than a donor group. It is the shared calling and collective commitment of everyone connected to Informed Choices: donors, church partners, volunteers, staff, and board members who believe every woman and family deserves compassionate support and that every life carries inherent value and dignity.

Looking back on the past year, we are deeply grateful for all God has done through this ministry. Informed Choices served 473 unique clients through 1,136 visits. Behind every number is a story, a woman searching for answers, a family navigating uncertainty, and an opportunity to provide compassionate care, practical resources, and hope.

We see hope every day. An ultrasound can detect a heartbeat as early as six weeks, and our data shows that after receiving an ultrasound and consultation, two out of three women who come to Informed Choices considering abortion choose life.

Our vision remains clear: Ensure that every woman and family in South Santa Clara and San Benito Counties facing an unplanned pregnancy or in need of support during pregnancy has access to compassionate, life-affirming care and resources that empower them to choose life.

Thanks to a strong finish to the fiscal year and the generosity of our spring event supporters, we enter this new year with momentum and confidence as we put these priorities into action.

Later this month, we'll increase our nurse hours by 64%, providing greater access to care. Our new billboard on Monterey Road (just north of Leavesley) is helping more women discover that hope is available, and we're expanding our digital efforts to reach those searching for answers online.

Our goal is to serve 20% more women and families this year. To support that growth, we are investing in the future while continuing to strengthen our foundation through donor development.

Today, recurring monthly gifts cover approximately 30% of our monthly operating expenses. If you're not already giving monthly, I invite you to prayerfully consider joining this community of faithful supporters. Your recurring gift provides the stability that allows us to be here when women and families need us most.

Finally, please save the date for our fall fundraiser on Saturday, October 24, at 6:00 p.m. at Kirigin Cellars. We look forward to sharing an inspiring evening celebrating the legacy of life and the hope we continue to build together.

Thank you for being part of the Life Community.

Together, we are Supporting Women. Upholding Life.
