We Made it.

Dear friends,

Since joining Informed Choices in May of 2014, I have anticipated and hoped for this day…this year. When I discovered that 1989 was the year of our founding, I remember wondering if we would still be here in 2019. I wanted to succeed in re-launching IC, but there were so many things we needed (a new location, medical licensing, medical professionals, and a lot more help - in the form of staff, volunteers, board members, and donors. Not to mention the funds to move forward!) Well my friends, I have never seen anything like it! At every step of the way, God provided. It was as if God flung open the doors to His storehouses and rained down from heaven all the blessings of obedience from Deuteronomy 28.As we witnessed the blessings of God, and experienced the abundance of support from our community, I dreamed of doing something extra special to celebrate our 30th Anniversary (if we made it.) And we did! Together - we have successfully re-launched and licensed a Gospel-Centered, Life-Affirming, Pregnancy Medical Clinic in the South County. Praise God!!

The Lord has turned my dream into reality and we are excited to announce our upcoming 30th Anniversary LifeBanquet! The Granada Theater in Morgan Hill! is the perfect place for remembering all that God has doneand “celebrating all our little stars!”For despite our many challenges — in the midst of a generation that seems to rally against us —“you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life!” (Phil. 2:15-16)

Please join me for this complimentary fundraising dinner on Thursday, March 14 from 6-9pm.

I have asked my good friend, Pastor Eric Smith, to join me as we look back at our early years. We will remember why South Valley Pregnancy Care Center was founded and we will distinguish the service of the many who sustained us through 30 years of mission. Along with our Board of Directors, led by Chairman, Dr. Mike Stewart, we will honor the support of local Pastors and church leaders as well as the dedication of past Directors, staff and volunteer personnel (including a very special remembrance of Rick and Nancy Hoibergwho have left of Legacy of Life for years to come.) It will then be my privilege to highlight the continuing work of Informed Choices.Because of the sacrifice of our donors and supporters, we have never been stronger!

Enclosed with this letter is a cardyou may want to post in a special spot in your home to remind you of this upcoming event. At the same time, you may also want to use it as an invitation. Put a friend’s name & address on the back, add a postcard stamp, and send off your own invitation. Easier still, place it in the hands of someone you think may want to know more about Informed Choices. (Keep in mind this is a complimentary event and an invitation will be extended to join you in your support of Informed Choices.)

Besides our program, guests will have a chance to interact with our staff and volunteers at 5 different displays representing Informed Moms, SOS (our support groups for those who have abortion in their past), volunteer opportunities, a LIVE ultrasound performed by our own nurses, and our newly updated Mobile Clinic! By the end of the evening we know you and your guests will be well acquainted with our ministry. Not to mention, you will enjoy a delicious meal (including anniversary cake) prepared by the Leal Vineyards team! I can’t wait to meet you in person and take an heirloom photo with youwhich I know I will cherish for years to come.

So please be sure to RESERVE YOURSPOT TODAY! It is very important that every individual register separatelyto save their spot for LifeBanquet 2019. We are limited to 350 guests maximum and every guest MUST have an e-ticket in order to enter. As always, our staff will be happy assist you in any way if you call the center during office hours.

LifeBanquet 2019 is not the only chance we will have to meet in person, however! January is always a month of possibilities for those who faithfully serve IC to “meet and greet” donors and church partner alike. You see, January is known as Sanctity of Human Life, or “SOHL” month…and this is traditionally a time when our Church Partners invite us to visit and give their congregations an update about the comings and goings of Informed Choices.

Lastly, here are a few of IC’s comings and goings I hope you will note:

  • January 22 & 23 > SOS, post-abortion support groups begin!

  • February 6 & 7 > Volunteer Training (don’t miss out!)

  • March 14 > 30th Anniversary LifeBanquet 2019

  • April > Informed Moms Workshop! (Preparing for & Caring For Baby)

I remain with you for Life,

Christine Vatuone
